Growing up in Ukraine, Associate Attorney Anna Garcia dreamed of becoming an attorney since the age of fourteen. She received her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from the Institute of International Relations of National T. Shevchenko University of Ukraine, the most prestigious university in the country. After immigrating to the United States, Anna worked for various law practices in Orlando, FL in the field of immigration, personal injury, wills, and probate. She gained firsthand experience and developed her passion for immigration law assisting immigrants with their journey to the American dream.
Anna pursued her US legal education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she earned her LL.M. degree in Comparative Law. Anna Garcia is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri and is a member of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), as well as a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Missouri Bar. Since immigration law is a federal law, Attorney Anna Garcia can represent clients before DHS, USCIS, the BIA, or immigration court in any of the 50 U.S. states and overseas.
Anna joined Vazquez and Poudat in 2018 and focuses her practice on a variety of U.S. immigration matters, including business immigration, employment-based immigration, national interest waivers, family-based immigration, immigrant and non-immigrant visas, and naturalization. Anna’s drive to resolve complex immigration cases and commitment to excellence met with her passion for advocating for her clients make her a valuable member of Vazquez and Poudat team.
